6 Way Breakout Leads, Set of 4

This set of 4, 6 way, breakout leads feature 4 sizes of male to female blade type terminals, 1mm, 1.5mm, 2.3mm and 2.8mm. Which are commonly found on automotive sensors, actuators, harness connectors and control modules. Each pair of male to female terminals is colour coded, white, red, green, blue, yellow and black and are spliced to a 4mm female banana type plug, also identified by a colour coded band.

These leads have been developed to allow for interconnection between sensors or actuators with up to six connector pins and their harness plugs. The leads are 380mm long to ensure minimal stress to components and greater flexibility when access is limited. This method of connecting to a multi-meter or oscilloscope allows us to view up to 6 inputs/outputs at one time with minimal intrusion or potential damage to fragile components, where back probing a connector may be difficult and puncturing wires may lead to further problems, such as corrosion, in the future. The industry standard 4mm banana plug is designed to accept 4mm basket type male test probes as found on quality multimeters and oscilloscopes for example DM16-HT306 Auto Test Leads.

The DM16-HT306 leads are also for use when bench testing components such as EGR valves, ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL motors,SOLENOIDS or FUEL INJECTORS. They allow for a quick and secure way to connect to these components with minimal potential to damage connector pins.
