The HT25 provides a means to obtain a secondary ignition signal which can be displayed on an oscilloscope via an industry standard BNC plug. It has an attenuated clip to connect to a HT LEAD and a ground clip to prevent stray HT leakage from entering the oscilloscope. It is necessary to provide 50mm clearance to adjacent HT leads to minimise signal noise.Once a signal is acquired you will observe all the necessary characteristics to make a diagnosis, this tool was designed to evaluate ignition systems which utilise HT leads, it may also be used on coil on plug systems with the addition of coil on plug extension leads HT 308.
