Due to extremely tight torque specifications on the Ford harmonic balancer bolts,
This tool is to used to install and remove the harmonic balancer bolt during a timing belt replacment, a damaged pulley or other engine strip down situations.

The torque multiplier tool is designed to attach on the engine's left drive shaft bracket to guarantee a secure fit and torque applied to the harmonic ballancer bolt.

The torque multiplier has a gear ratio of 1: 5. The tool is needed when working on the following Ford engines:
