To begin, Welcome to Ozwide Tools - The Leading Australian Distributor of Quality Automotive Speciality Tools! 

You can use our site to browse by Category, use the Search Bar to find anything specific or look for a model or engine type (eg, "Wheel Bearing", "Golf", or "M52 Engine"), or you can use the Tool Finder to set your vehicle Make and Model to find all the applicable items to suit.

From there you can add to your Shopping Cart using the Shop Now button, or take a closer look at any of the items on their product page where you can calculate shipping costs and see detailed descriptions and applications for most tools.

Remember - you can always call our helpful team if you have any questions or need help finding the right tool for your job!

You will have to register your details in order to move through checkout, if you haven't already you can find the registration page here! 

If you haven't already been to the login page it can be found here - Login - or by clicking the Account link at the top of the page.

If you have used Ozwide tools or MT Hire in the past, there is a good chance we have pre-registered your details to allow you to use our website as a trade customer. If that's the case, just enter your email address as a returning customer and request a new password - a temporary password will be sent to your email so you can login (it's recommended you change your password immediately on your first login).

From there you can see your customer account and can change or update any details or shipping addresses as required.

If you know you have purchased from us before and the email you entered is not recognised please contact us and we can inform you of the email that is registered with us and update it if necessary.

If you have never used us before - Welcome! Please enter your details into the New Customer section and click Register to continue.

Ozwide Tools has been supplying the industry for over 8 years. In that time many of you may have used us in the for either purchase or hiring tools.

If this is the case we may have already pre-registered your recorded email address in our system so you can have immediate access to our online ordering and your Trade pricing.

If you have tried to register a new account with us and receive a message like - Invalid Email. "YourEmail@server.com" already exists in our system. Please try another email address.- All you need to do is enter your email as a Returning Customer and select “Request A New Password” - Our system will then send you with a temporary password to the registered email address. (Alternatively give us a call and we can assist in setting up your account login).

Once you are logged in we recommend checking your business details and changing your password (And take the opportunity to save our website in your favourites list).

We look out for the automotive trade and provide discounts for workshops and distributors with a registered ABN.

Once you have registered your business details (make sure to enter your ABN) and logged in to our site, all prices displayed will be customised to your user profile and will include your trade discounts & GST so there are no hidden surprises at checkout!

We are a Capricorn Preferred Supplier so of course you are welcome to use your membership account to purchase or to Hire from us.

To make sure your User Account is registered with your Capricorn Membership number on our site go to “Edit My Contact Details”.

Your Capricorn details will be displayed under your “Billing Information” in the Address field, and in the Capricorn Society Member Number field under your ABN information - If it is not, just send us an enquiry with your current details and we will update your account.

Once everything is correctly entered, you will have the option at checkout to bill to your Capricorn Society Membership.

NOTE: Your Capricorn details should be displayed in the “Billing Information” section - if it is changed or is incorrect, your billing will not be submitted to your Capricorn account and alternative payment will be required. Please do not change your Billing or Company Name information without contacting us.

To set yourself up to use the site please follow the simple steps below:

To make sure your User Account is registered with your Capricorn Membership number on our site go to “Edit My Contact Details”.

Enter your business details, including your ABN and Capricorn Membership numbers in the appropriate fields. Once you've submitted your registration your user profile will be adjusted to enable your Capricorn Member pricing and checkout options.
NOTE: Your Capricorn user activation may take up to 24 hours. If you have an urgent order or any issues registering, please contact us on 1300 80 60 65 so we can help!

Once everything is set up correctly, you will have the option at checkout to bill to your Capricorn Society Membership.

NOTE: Once set up, your Capricorn details should be displayed in the “Billing Information” section - if it is changed or is incorrect, your billing will not be submitted to your Capricorn account and alternative payment will be required. Oh No! We understand that sometimes you just need to get the job finished – Luckily, we also Hire most of the specialised tooling we stock.

If we are currently out of stock for sale, look for the  button under the price on the tools which you will find once you are on the product page.

Follow the link and it will take you to our MT Hire page where you can browse our available rental stock. If you need to organise the tools that you’re after (or any others), just give us a call on 1300 80 60 65 or submit an enquiry using the form on the MTHire Website.

Of course! We’re happy to help with customized shipping and to discuss payment options.

To assist you with not losing your required tool you have found and to also assist us when contacting you, simply return to your Shopping Cart and select the “Create Quote from Cart” option. You may then request your alternative requirements using the “Customer Defined Shipping” option and then enter your preferred shipping method in the “Delivery Instructions” box.

NOTE: As this is a quote it will not reserve the goods in your cart – Your order will only be processed once we have contacted you to discuss your requirements.

You can also process your order as normal and just select the “Customer Defined Shipping” and “Pay on Dispatch”, and enter your requirements in the Delivery Instructions field. This will ensure the items you require will be reserved until we contact you to finalise your order.
While we endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible, please be aware that requesting custom shipping & payment options may result in delay in despatching your order.

NOTE: There may be additional charges for custom shipping.  

 

Most of our delivery services will display an ETA at checkout to give you an idea of when you will see your parcel arrive. 
Please note: This is an estimate only and will be updated by the carrier once collected from our warehouse.

Most courier services used provide an online tracking service -  Once your goods are dispatched from our warehouse a tracking number will be added to your order.  

If you log in to your account here you can see a list of all of your orders. Find the order you're waiting on and click "Track". The shipping details will be displayed including dates, delivery address, and tracking numbers which can be used on the courier service's tracking system - allowing you to find out when the goods are due for delivery.

Alternatively, give us a call and we can assist you in locating your delivery.
