This tool will cover two repairs.
one, for the (PTU) Power Transfer Unit Tool in the Transfer case.
Second, for the transmission output shaft seal (install only).

This kit includes the two shims (part numbers JLR-205-873-01) to set the depth.
It is advisable to measure the depth of the old seal prior to removal to determine if the spacer rings, supplied in the kit, are required.

However a slide hammer OEM reference no. 100-102 or its equivalent is also required for optimal operation which is not included in the kit
