This metre is designed to test the integrity of the insulation on components such as piezo fuel injectors, solenoid injectors, coils and motor windings etc, where a DMM’s low voltage ohmmeter is of no use. This metre uses high voltage, in the ranges of 100v 250v 500v and 1000v to locate insulation breakdown on components that operate at high voltage. It is designed for techs who specialise in drivability diagnostics and E.V. techs. 
The metre also incorporates an auto ranging AC/DC voltmeter and Ohmmeter. 
It is rated CAT IV 600V and CAT3 1000V.
