This tool is specially designed to prevent oil seal damage during installation.

The seal will leak without using the correct tool!
The DM11-A1261 tool is generally for the early versions, 

The best way to check is via the Seal Numbers as there are now two kits that may fit your vehicle, but also the depth the seal is pushed in. The other tool it may be is  DM11-B1726
These two tools are almost identical, the only difference we can find is the depth of where the seal is seated in the tool.

The depth for the DM11-A1261 is 12.2-12.8mm

This kit (DM11-A1261) will also fit some front crankshaft seals but again please check the seal number.

This tool makes life easy. Sure it can be done with a punch and hammer, but there is risk, and it's time consuming. This tool turns fitting the rear main seal into a 2 minute job without the risk. If you haven't bought from this company, you don't understand how easy they make your trade life.
