This tool is a must when servicing Mitsubishi Trucks. Mitsubishi uses a slinger (wear ring) installed onto the crankshaft, this prevents crankshaft from wearing a grove, this eliminates the need of a costly crankshaft replacement. The depth of the slinger is very critical. These seals will leak if this tool is not used when servicing these trucks.
