Used to lock camshafts and crankshaft in position when servicing timing chain and setting engine timing.

Used in VW / Audi Engines from 2010 onwards four cylinder EA888 petrol engines.

Also Recommended: 
DM11-A1633 - Used to relieve tension on the chain during removal.
DM11-E1506 - Used to remove and align the crankshaft pulley so as not to disturb the engine timing.
DM11-A1692 - Used to rotate camshafts
NOTE:
DM13-8834 - Central valve socket kit may be required if a Golf R or later models from around 2016 onwards
