Ford Engine Timing Tool Kit - 1.25L / 1.4L / 1.6L / 1.7L / 1.8L / 2.0L Duratec Petrol
Use to lock the camshafts in the timed position when the engine repair or the rebuild requiring the cam pulley to be removed and timed.
The kit covers the timing belt replacement on Ford 1.6 duratec engine with the variable valve timing. The kit also covers later duratec petrol engine, including revised design camshaft setting plate and tensioner pulley locking pin, and also covers the complete range of Ford duratec engines 1.25L through 2.0L 16v in the both belt and chain drive variant. The camshaft, the crankshaft and the flywheel pins are also suitable for many other petrol and diesel Ford engines.
Note: Camshaft Locking Tool 303 1097: Fit to the engine that ensure the arrow is facing upward, with the rectangle on the left and the circle on the right. This five piece set is the essential for replacing the cam belt on Ford Focus/C Max 1.6 Ti-VCT (03 09) with engine code: HXDA (2003-2007) plus 2.0 TDCi with engine code: G6DA, G6DB, G6DC 2003-2007. The set includes camshaft sprocket locking tool, tensioner pulley locking pin, flywheel timing pin, crankshaft locking pin, camshaft setting plate, and also requires Flywheel Locking Tool and adaptors.
